Gun Digest Defensive Handgun Training eShort The basics of dry fire and live fire handgun practice for defensive handgunning Concealed Carry eShorts eBook David Fessenden
This is a very brief booklet; it actually has only 11 pages on the subject. In addition to that, there is also a brief section on self defense and the law, where the author basically instructs the reader to seek advise from a lawyer or reputable school. There is also a 7-page glossary. In addition of being this brief, some of the material is taken from another book (Gun Digest book of Combat Handgunnery). The advise in the booklet is most geared towards inexperienced shooters, but also more experienced recreational shooters - as opposed to tactical / defensive shooters - might benefit. The information in the booklet is very basic, although it gives a starting point. The author stresses that this information is not towards recreational shooters, as the goal is to improve tactical / defensive shooting skills.
The advise of not using magazines in the guns during dry fire sessions is a bit odd, in my opinion. I understand the need for extreme caution, but still it's strange that one should practice using different techniques and body mechanics than one would use when shooting live fire. Because of that advise, I give only two stars instead of three. Otherwise, a decent primer.

Great info and reading
Doesn't ever get around to explaining what to practice, just you should take a course, then practice what you're taught with an empty gun.
